    Gently slide the matching variant onto the front edge of the chassis.

WAKECLIP is a model-specific, 3D-printed PETG lid spacer for the MacBook model selected when ordering. Each selectable model has been tested with its corresponding WAKECLIP geometry.

Select your exact MacBook model. Product images may show a representative geometry; the delivered geometry is matched to the selected model. Minor layer lines and surface variations are normal characteristics of 3D printing.

Safety instructions

  • Use only with the selected compatible MacBook model.
  • Never use force when fitting or removing WAKECLIP.
  • Do not operate a Mac with WAKECLIP fitted inside a bag or another confined, unventilated space.
  • Discontinue use if WAKECLIP is damaged, deformed, loose or does not fit correctly.

WAKECLIP mechanically prevents the lid from closing fully. It does not change macOS settings and does not guarantee that every application, connection or local process will continue.

What exactly does WakeClip do?

WakeClip is a removable physical spacer designed to keep the lid slightly open without installing software or changing macOS settings.

Does WakeClip keep my Mac awake automatically?

No. It only prevents full physical closure. Sleep behavior, battery level, network access and individual app settings still matter.

Which MacBook models are supported?

Select the exact MacBook model in the model selector before ordering. If your model is not listed as available, do not choose a different version.

Can it scratch my MacBook?

No scratch-free guarantee is made. Keep every contact surface clean, use only the exact matching version and never force installation or lid movement.

Can I leave it attached in a bag?

No. Remove WakeClip before closing, storing or transporting the MacBook. Never run a MacBook inside a tight or unventilated bag.

How do shipping and returns work?

Standard shipping is free worldwide. For Germany, allow 1 to 3 business days processing plus 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. For international delivery times and available shipping methods, see the shipping policy and checkout. The statutory withdrawal period is 14 days; customers generally pay the direct return shipping costs.
